30 day son challenge in 10 days: Day 5!
18: A song that you wish you heard on the radio.
The Gregory Brothers, best known for Auto-tune the News, and other accidental singers, are pretty awesome and hilarious. The dude who creates all the beats and tunes in order to songify unintentioal singers, is Micheal Gregory and he has a number of very poppy/sweet songs that I very much enjoy! I chose this one because it is both a melancholy song set to a happy tune and there is clapping involved. I’m a sucker for clapping.
17: A song that you hear often on the radio
I cannot be more happy that Adele has hit it big in the states, but I hear ‘Rolling in the Deep’ all the freaking time on all the radio stations. I do like this song (clapping!) and I think her success is great, but I would love the powers that be to move on to another song of hers.
16: A song that you used to love but now hate.
Middle school was a time of bad emotional music, most of which I either regret or like purly for nostalgic reasons. Some was genuinly good, but for the most part, it was a rough period in my personal music journey. Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden is a prime example. (I Knew I Loved You came in a close second, perhaps even a tie. I have much to repent for…)
